The Cortado Coffee Set explores the use of aluminium in an everyday object, combining a minimal form with the technical requirements of drinking hot coffee. Made from 6061 aluminium with a natural matte finish, the 115 ml cup was developed specifically for cortados and milk-based coffees. Its double-wall construction reduces heat transfer to the hand while helping maintain the temperature of the coffee, turning the material’s thermal properties into a key part of the design process.
